Originally conceived as a spec home, this project evolved into a fully custom residence midway through construction, allowing for a more personal and layered approach. Designed for a couple seeking a mountain farmhouse aesthetic, the home balances comfort with understated refinement. Texture plays a central role—introduced through furnishings, wallpaper, and the use of rough iron lighting—while a soft, neutral palette keeps the spaces cohesive. Details, from quartz countertops with a custom tile backsplash to a built-in dog nook, are paired with expansive alpine views that anchor the home in its surroundings.
